Chrome corundum bricks are made from industrial alumina and calcined chromite raw materials, CrO3 content is usually between 9%~15%. Because Al2O3 and CrO3 contained in chrome corundum brick will form Al2O3-Cr2O3 Spinel solid solution at high temperature, the high-temperature performance of chrome corundum brick is very good. Chrome corundum bricks have better thermal shock resistance than corundum refractory bricks. Their resistance to glass liquid corrosion is also very good, so chrome corundum bricks are often used in glass furnaces.

Chrome Corundum Brick Classification
By Cr2O3 content, chrome corundum bricks are classified into 12-chrome corundum bricks, 30-chrome corundum bricks, 60-chrome corundum bricks and so on.
By production carts, chrome corundum bricks are classified into fused chrome corundum bricks and fired chrome corundum bricks.
Chrome Corundum Brick Application
Chrome corundum brick is used in glass furnaces that are not sensitive to coloring. Besides, chrome corundum bricks are also widely used in steel ladles, carbon black reaction furnaces, the nonferrous metals industry, fertilizer factory gasifying furnace, and so on.
